Benton, LA - Services for Faye Dorlene "Mimi" Richmond will be 11:00 a.m. Monday, October 30, 2017 at Rose-Neath Bossier Chapel. Officiating will be Rev. Tommy Patton. Interment will be 3 p.m. at Blue Branch Cemetery, Pitkin, LA. Visitation will be 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. at Rose-Neath Bossier, Sunday, October, 29, 2017. Mimi was born July 13, 1938 in Merryville, LA and passed away October 26, 2017 in Bossier City. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. Her life was filled with the joy of working with children. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ivy Richmond; parents, Madison James and Lola Jordan and brother, Hubert Deason. Mimi is survived by her son, Keith Richmond of Benton; daughter, Karen Evans and husband, Glenn of Shreveport; grandsons, Scott Evans and wife, Teaa of Valley Ridge, CA, Trey Evans and wife, Crystal of Alexandria, LA, Brian Evans and wife, Becky of Bossier City, Jordan Richmond of Monroe, LA, Brandon Richmond and wife, Brianne of Bossier City; granddaughter, Faithe Johnston and husband, Derek of Benton; great grandchildren, Harper and Hallie Evans of Alexandria, Jacob and Caleb Evans of Bossier City, Roman Richmond of Bossier City and sister, Yvonne Tucker and husband, Doyle of DeRidder, LA. The family would like to express their sincere appreciation to the staffs at Promise Hospital of Bossier and Riverview Care Center for the loving care given to Mimi.
