Flora Lee Guin
Flora Lee Jackson Guin passed on to our Lord on Friday, July 7, 2017. Flora was born August 17, 1932 in Miles, Texas. She lived most of her life in Vivian, Louisiana, with her beloved husband, Elijah Jackson "Jack" Guin. Flora is survived by her loving husband, Jack of 69 years, her son Larry and his wife, Jane, and her grandchildren: Michelle Adams, Tracey Simmons, Emily McMinn, Sara Rios, Ashton Davis and Amber Hennigan and 15 great grandchildren.
Flora was an active member of Emmanuel Baptist Church and greatly enjoyed fellowship and participating in youth activities and in different church functions. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, great grandmother and homemaker. She loved arts and crafts- especially crocheting.
Pallbearers will be Christopher Adams, Jordan Parker, Ethan McMinn, Arthur Pratt, Raymond Thibodeaux, and Bill Boyter.
Visitation for Flora will be Wednesday, July 12, 2017 at 12 p.m. followed by her funeral service at 1:00 p.m. at Rose-Neath Funeral Home. Officiating will be Rev. Billy Flowers, pastor of Emmanuel Baptist Church.
