Florene Worsham

FARMERVILLE, LA - Services Celebrating the life of Florene Honeycutt Worsham, 93, will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, January 24, 2018, at Iron Mountain Baptist Church, El Dorado, AR, with Rev. Alan Grimmett officiating. Interment will follow at Scotland Cemetery, Junction City, AR. The family will receive friends from 9:30 a.m. until service time at the church. Florene was born January 12, 1925, to Rildie Macila Poindexter Honycutt and Johnny May Honeycutt and passed away peacefully on January 20, 2018. Florene loved to garden. She planted and worked a beautiful two acre vegetable farm every year that she was known for in Vivian, LA. Florene also loved to fish, when she wasn't gardening she could be found fishing. She had a large family and loved visiting with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She was an active member of Iron Mountain Baptist Church. She loved to sing and participate in church activities and loved her church family very much. Florene was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Otis Hall; her daughter and son-in-law, Jolene and Charlie Lawrence; and her son, Bay Lynn Worsham. Left to cherish her memory are her sons, James Otis Hall and wife, Barbara of Vivian, LA, and Donald Lanier and wife Sheila of Vivian, LA; daughters, Dora McLelland and husband, Jerry of Farmerville, LA, and Deborah Graham and husband, Bobby of Vivian, LA; 19 grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
