He entered into eternal rest on Thursday January 12, 2017 at Baylor Hospital in Dallas, TX. He was preceded in death by his parents James Robert Tarpley & Delma Alford Tarpley; his sisters Dorothy Landry &Willa Mae Leone; and his brothers Wayne Tarpley, Howard Tarpley, Clyde Tarpley & Bobby Tarpley. He is survived by his wife Virgie Tarpley; Sons James Tarpley, Phillip Tarpley & wife Terri; his daughter Carol Annison & husband Eddie; sisters Rose Lynn Leroy, Marguerite Lovelady; & 9 Grandchildren & 4 Great Grandchildren Rose-Neath Funeral Home-Many, LA
