Franca Cox

Funeral services for Franca Cox, 73, will be held on Saturday, August 27, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. at Rose-Neath Funeral Home, 2500 Southside Dr., Shreveport, Louisiana. Burial will take place at a later date at Rose-Neath Cemetery in Bossier City. A visitation will be held Saturday, August 27, 2022 from 12:00 p.m. until service time. Officiating the service will be Father Mark of St. Mary of the Pines Catholic Church.

Franca was born on November 30, 1948 in Massawa, Eritrea to Bruno Sabatino and Birinesh Sabatino and passed away on Tuesday, August 16, 2022 in Shreveport, Louisiana.

Franca was a deeply devoted Catholic that was one with faith. She was an amazing mother and devoted, loving wife. Franca brightened up any room with her smile. She was fluent in several different languages. Franca loved Italian cooking and doing volunteer work for the community.

Franca is preceded in death by her mother; husband, Adam Cox; and son, Massimo Cox. Left to cherish her memory are her sons, Riccardo Cox, Adamo Cox; and grandson, Jordan Cox.

The family suggests, in lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Mary of the Pines Catholic Church, 1050 Bert Kouns Industrial Loop, Shreveport, Louisiana 71118.
