Frances Talley Beasley

SHREVEPORT, LA - Funeral services for Frances Talley Beasley, 90, will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, August 14, 2015 at Broadmoor Baptist Church, 4110 Youree Dr., Shreveport. Interment will follow at Forest Park West Cemetery. Officiating will be Dr. Larry Williams and Dr. Scott Tatum. Visitation will be held in the parlor prior to the service from 9:30 a.m. until 10:45 a.m. Frances was born March 18, 1925 in Haynesville, LA to Ruby Deloach and Charles Hollis Talley, Sr., and passed away on August 10, 2015 in Shreveport. After moving to Shreveport Frances started working as a secretary for her future husband, Clifton. Frances was a devoted member of Broadmoor Baptist Church for over 50 years, where she taught Sunday School. Frances is preceded in death by her parents and her loving husband of 54 years, Clifton. Left to cherish her memory is her daughter, Jean Baldwin and her husband, David and grandchildren, Jim and Jack Baldwin all of Shreveport, along with a niece, nephews and extended family. Honoring Frances as pallbearers will be her friends. The family would like to express their gratitude and appreciation to all of the staff at The Glen Retirement System for all the compassionate care they gave to Frances. In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorials may be made to Broadmoor Baptist Church, Mature Adult Ministry, 4110 Youree Dr., Shreveport, LA or St. Jude Childrens Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
