SHREVEPORT, LA - A Mass of Christian Burial for Frances Marie Vergo, 86, will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, August 9, 2017, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Shreveport, LA, with Rev. Matthew T. Long officiating. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 1:00 p.m. until service time at the church.
Frances was born March 24, 1931, in Shreveport, LA to Josephine Pizzolato Vergo and Marion Vergo and passed away August 6, 2017 in Shreveport.
Preceding Frances in death were her parents, and brothers, Sebastian "John" Vergo and Peter Joseph Vergo. Left to cherish her memory are her sister, Jacqueline Vergo Palumbo; and nieces, Rosanne Maryjo and Janice Palumbo.
The family would like to thank St. Mary of The Pines Eucharistic Ministers, and a special thank you to Mrs. Josie Lewis for her help during this difficult time.
