SHREVEPORT, LA - Funeral services for Frances Morris Wise, 80, will be held at 12 Noon on Saturday, November 21, 2015 at Rose-Neath Southside Chapel, 2500 Southside Drive, Shreveport. Interment will follow at Centuries Memorial Park. Brother Doug Allen and Brother Dale Sauls will officiate. The family will receive visitors on Friday, November 20, 2015 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. and on Saturday, November 21, from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Rose-Neath Southside.
Frances was born on August 8, 1935 in Mansfield, LA. She retired from Arkla Gas where she worked as a Customer Service Representative. Frances was an avid NASCAR fan, loved taking care of her dog, Lexie, but more than anything she faithfully read her bible daily and studied her Sunday school lesson.
Preceding Frances in death are her husband, Billie Wise, her parents, brother, Michael Morris and her 3 loving nieces, Christi, Shonnette, and Kathy. Those left to cherish her memory are her son, Chuck Wise; grandchildren, Deana Wise and Dana Evans; sisters, Sarah Bostwick and husband, Ted, and Maxine Huber, along with numerous nieces and nephews. She will be truly missed.
Honoring Frances as pallbearers will be Terry Bostwick, John Potter, George Reed, Dennie Wise, Jerry Wise and Johnie Wise.
The family would like to say a special thanks to her devoted caregiver, Jackie Savannah, the love and support of her Sunday school class of First Baptist Church of Blanchard, and the staff at Highland PCU/CCU and the loving care the final week at Cornerstone Hospital.
