His passions included maintaining the home for which he and Thelda shared together for over 50 years. He was also a proud member of the Booth Masonic Lodge of Shreveport, LA. He enjoyed spending time with his family and always sought to help out each and every person in his neighborhood.

Francis is survived by his children and their spouses, Carroll and Lisa Baker of Shreveport, LA, Kenny and Shiela Odem of Winnsboro, TX, Laurie Christino of Dallas, TX and daughter-in-law, Christy Baker of Shreveport, LA. He is also survived by nine grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
In order to obey his last wishes, only a masonic ceremony will be carried out, as well as, a small family memorial to celebrate the life of a noble man. Francis has now reached his final resting place with the love of his life, Thelda Baker. In his own words, "she has prepared my mansion in heaven and someday I will join her." He has now joined her in their heavenly mansion. Though we as the family may no longer see, hear, nor touch him in the human sense again, we all know that he is smiling from above and his love will always surround each and every one of us.
The family would like to thank his many kind neighbors and friends. Also a special thanks to the employees of Brookshire's of Shreveport located on Mansfield Road. It was literally the highlight of his day to go get his meals from the Brookshire's deli and spend time talking to employees. A special thanks also for the members of the Capital One Banking team on Mansfield Road in Shreveport, LA that were always willing to lend him a helping hand. Lastly, we would like to thank Dr. Thomas Bernard and the team at Healthplex Family clinic for the many years of medical services provided.
