Francis L. Shaffer

Funeral services for Francis L. Shaffer will be held Sunday, March 6, 2016 at 3 p.m. at First Pentecostal Church in Minden, Louisiana with Rev. Jeff Ramsey and Rev. Corky Puckett officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. Lebanon Cemetery in Gibsland, Louisiana. The family will receive friends from 2 p.m. til service time Sunday at the church. Francis was born January 31, 1919 in Oak Grove, Louisiana and entered into rest March 4, 2016 in Minden, Louisiana. He was preceded in death by his wife Helen Shaffer, daughter Janice Greer, son-in-law Doug Hall, and grandson Ken Puckett. He is survived by his sons Jerry and Charlotte Shaffer, Randy and Cathy Shaffer, and Rodney and Mary Shaffer all of Minden, daughters Winnie Hall and Joyce and Rev. William C. Puckett of Minden, son-in-law C.W. Greer, Jr. seventeen grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.
