Frances Millicent Love Lord

Graveside services for Frances Millicent Love Lord, age 92 of Vivian, Louisiana will be held at 9:00 a.m. Friday, July 5, 2024 at Forest Park Cemetery, St Vincent Avenue with Bro. Bill Treadway pastor of Mt. Gilead Baptist Church officiating. 

Mrs. Lord was born on June 22, 1932 in Blanchard, Louisiana to Emmett Berry Love and Alma Laeunia Green and went to be with her Lord and Savior on June 30, 2024 at her residence in Vivian. She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother who was devoted to her family. She was a schoolteacher and librarian who cared deeply about her students and was greatly loved by the children whose lives she touched. Mrs. Lord was a gifted musician who played the piano and organ at the various churches she attended throughout the years.

Mrs. Lord is preceded in death by her parents; sister, Patricia Dale Culpepper; brothers, Joseph Elmer Love, Emmit Laverne Love, Elwood Love. Eugene Berry Love and Samuel Bruce Love.

Those left to cherish her memory are her husband of 70 years, Andrew Monroe Lord, Jr; her children, Sandra Lord-Dodson and husband, Mitchell, Andrew Wayne Lord and Rose M. Lord (deceased), Randall Bryan Lord and wife, Lisa and Lynda Cain and husband, Paul. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Kristina Oliver, Andrew Eugene Lord and wife, Noelani, Michael Lord, Bryan Lord, Sarah Lord, Cody Rowe, Kalie Rhodes and Jonathan and Lindy Cain; great grandchildren, Carson Rowe, Hudson Rhodes, Parker Rhodes and El Rhodes.
