BENTON, LA - A Mass of Christian Burial for Frank Joseph Charchio will be 10 a.m. Wednesday, August 13, 2014 at Holy Trinity Catholic Church. Officiating will be Father Charles Glorioso. Interment will follow at Hill Crest Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday, August 12, 2014 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m., with a 6 p.m. Vigil, at Rose-Neath Funeral Home, Bossier City, LA. Frank was born in Lake End, LA on November 3, 1927 to Luke and Lena Gulino Charchio and died August 10, 2014 in Bossier City, LA. He was a member of Christ the King Catholic and the Bossier Parish Sheriff's Posse. Frank was a retired auto body technician. He is preceded in death by his wife, Virginia Tombrello Charchio. Frank is survived by son, Luke Charchio and wife, Betty of Benton; daughters, Kathy Machen and husband, Roger of Bossier City, Josie Troquille and husband, Butch of Bossier City; sister, Bea Matassa and husband, Charles; five grandchildren; five great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Honoring Frank as pallbearers will be Jonathan Machen, Sammy Charchio, Charles Churchill, Mark Charchio, C.J. Charchio Jr. and Donald Vishnefski. Honorary pallbearers will be John Matassa, Jimmy Scally and Charles Matassa. The family would like to thank the doctors and nurses at WK Bossier ICU and Comfort Care for the excellent care given to our father.
