Frank Monroe Conley, Jr.

Graveside services for Frank Monroe Conley, Jr., 88, will be held Wednesday, April 23, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. at Concord Cemetery in Fouke, Arkansas. A visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 23, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Rose-Neath Funeral Home, 2500 Southside Dr., Shreveport, Louisiana prior to the graveside. Officiating the service will be Sharon Partain and Gator Conley.

Frank was born on October 12, 1936, to Frank Monroe Conley, Sr. and Annie Magee Conley in Fort Worth, Texas and passed away on Friday, April 18, 2025, in Shreveport after a short illness.

Frank married Jo Ann Lafayette, the love of his life, on July 3, 1954, and they remained married for 57 years until her death. They had three children, Belinda, Deborah, and Berry.

Left to cherish Frank’s memory is his daughter, Deborah Bailey; grandchildren, Catherine, Diana, Joseph, Amanda, Matthew, and Madison; great-grandchildren, Luke, Abram, Kelsey, Jaden, Christian, Ethan, Emiley, and Cash; and great-great-grandchildren, Bellamy, Samuel, Eleanor, Oliver; and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends he loved very much. Frank is preceded in death by his wife, JoAnn Conley; daughter, Belinda Buck and son, Berry Conley; father, Frank Conley, Sr. and mother, Annie Magee Conley; brothers, Willard Conley, Earl Conley, Robert Conley; and sister, Lenell Petaway.

Frank raised his family in Shreveport. He was self-employed as a painter and drywall finisher. He was considered the best of the best in the Ark-La-Tex. His hobbies included fishing and hunting, but his greatest passion was spending time with his family.

Honoring Frank as pallbearers will be his grandsons.

Frank will be greatly missed but the family will continue to love and cherish his memory forever.
