Glenn was born in Big Spring, Texas, and moved to Bossier City, Louisiana, while in Junior High School. Glenn was a mentor to his younger brothers, David and Robert, and helped care for his brother Ricky, who had spina bifida. Helping take care of his brother instilled in him the passion to become a physician.

During his career he practiced at Willis-Knighton, Schumpert, and at private practices both in Shreveport and San Diego, California. Among his accomplishments he was a President of the Louisiana Society of Anesthesiologists and an Assistant Professor at Louisiana State University Medical Center Shreveport.

Glenn was married to Catherine “Kitty” Farace for forty years before separating and together they had one son, Mark. Glenn was a kind and generous person who took care of his friends and family. Even after being diagnosed with Alzheimer’s, he still was able to put a smile on the faces of those around him.
