MOORINGSPORT, LA - A celebration of life for Frank Robert Teller, Jr., 72, will be held Monday, June 30, 2014 from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at North Highlands Methodist Church.
Frank was born on January 11, 1942 in Port Arthur, TX and passed away on June 26, 2014 in Shreveport, LA. He was a resident of Mooringsport, LA and retired from a career in electrical engineering from AT&T.
Mr. Teller was a long time member of the Masons, most recently of the Blanchard Lodge. He was a very active member of his church and enjoyed helping build handicapped ramps for those in need. He had a passion for music and was an accomplished piano player and guitar picker and attended the Monday Night Pickers regularly. He was also involved in a musical group by the name of Main Street Connection and traveled around the area to play for just anybody who would listen. To his fellow musicians, if you are able to join us Monday evening please bring your instruments to help us celebrate his life.
He was preceded in death by his father, Frank Teller, Sr.; mother, Clara Teller-McKee; brother, Charles Teller. Survivors include daughters, Stacy R. Teller-Wilson and husband, Mark, Deborah Wall, Dana Francis, and husband, John; son, Kevin Teller; grandchildren, Abby Wilson, Weston Wilson, Ryan Short, Landon Wall, Cade Wall, Cory Teller, Crystal Kendrick, Aaron Kendrick, Frankie Tanner and several great-grandchildren; sister, Ada-Ruth Billings and husband, William; and many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, please direct all memorials to the North Highlands Methodist Church or the Shriners Hospital in Shreveport, LA.
