Freddie Irene Spohrer

Funeral services for Freddie Irene Ponselle Spohrer, 91, will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, April 6, 2018 at St. Ann Catholic Church in Stonewall, LA with Rev. James McLelland officiating. Interment will follow in Centuries Memorial Park. Visitation will be held from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Thursday, April 5, 2018 with a Vigil following after at Rose-Neath Southside. Freddie was born June 8, 1926 in Cedar Grove, LA to John "Tim" and Irene Ponselle and passed away on April 3, 2018 in Stonewall. She loved quilting, being active in her church, and spending time with family. Freddie was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Paul P. Spohrer, Sr.; son, Jerome Spohrer; infant children, Marie and Joseph Spohrer; and sister, Peggy Ponselle Spohrer. Left to cherish her memory are her children, Betty Morton, Pat Spohrer and wife Ruby, Danny Spohrer, Tim Spohrer, and Laura Pendleton and husband Rickey; siblings, Marye Allen, Nell Britner and husband Bob, and Jean Rains; grandchildren, Melissa Morton, Tom Morton, Joe Morton and wife Maureen, Karen Goodman and husband Jeff, Kevin Spohrer and wife Laurel, John David Wallace and wife Kalli, and Kelly Cobb and husband Jason, Shaun Pendleton and wife Ashley, and Mark Pendleton and wife Jessica; and numerous great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. Pallbearers will be her grandsons. Memorials may be made to St. Ann's Building Fund.
