Doyline, LA Freddie Mack Widmer, Sr Funeral services for Freddie Mack Widmer, Sr will be held Monday, April 10, 2017 at 10 a.m. at Rose-Neath Funeral Home Chapel in Minden, Louisiana with Rev. Bud Everage officiating. Interment will follow at Forest Park West in Shreveport, Louisiana. The family will receive friends from 5 until 7 p.m. Sunday, April 9, 2017 at Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Minden. Freddie was born April 22, 1947 in Kermit, Texas and entered into rest April 6, 2017 in Shreveport, Louisiana. Freddie Mack's greatest enjoyment was tinkering with his old cars, attending car auctions with his son, working around his farm, and spending time with his granddaughter, Madison. He was preceded in death by his wife Janis Lattier Widmer and two brothers Wayne Widmer and Milton Widmer. He is survived by his son Freddie Mack Widmer and wife Robin and granddaughter Madison of Shreveport. The family extends special thanks to Mrs. Shirley, T, Mr. Rowell, and Theda for the loving care during his illness. Pallbearers will be Mark Griffith, Mike Elshout, Jason Powell, Mike Powell, Simeon Wall, and Eddie Robertson.
