Garlon (Ed) Jones

Garlon A. Jones, know to family and friends as "Ed", 71, of Carrollton, Texas died from a stroke on Friday, January 19^th, 2018 while visiting family in Louisiana. Ed was born in Texarkana, TX on February 15, 1946. Ed is survived by his wife, Angela Squitieri, son's Joseph & Eddie, daughter Gloria and four grandchildren; father-in law Raymond Squitieri, brother's Shelby Jackson & Joe Beaty and sister's Marzee Hughes & Angela Beaty. Ed is predeceased by his mother Joanne Bentley Beaty, his father Lewis Edward Jones as well as his brother Bill Beaty. Ed is a veteran of the Vietnam War and served in the US Air Force from 1963 thru 1968. He worked in facilities maintenance with Amerisource Bergen in Frisco and retired May 2017. He also did Handyman services for several local Realtors and Property Managers. He enjoyed weekend golf; reading and cherished the time he spent with his family and friends. A memorial service Mass will take place on Ed's birth date, February 15, 2018 at 11:00am at All Saints Catholic Church, Dallas, TX. Interment will be at Fairview Cemetery, Red Bank, NJ in the spring.
