SHREVEPORT, LA- A memorial service for Gary Stanley Selby, 53, will be held at 4:00 p.m. Saturday, August 16, 2014 at Rose-Neath's Southside Chapel. Officiating will be Dr. Murry Hodge.
Gary was born on June 15, 1961 in Winchester, VA and passed away on August 12, 2014 after a sudden illness. He was a resident of Shreveport and a member of Summer Grove Baptist Church. He was the plant manager for Shreveport Logistics, a fan of the Cardinals baseball team and the LSU Football Tigers. He also enjoyed Civil War History.
He was preceded in death by his father, Camm G. Selby and sister, Toni White. Left to cherish his memory are his mother, Iva Frances Selby; son, Michael Selby and wife, Emily; daughters, Rachel Noble and Mary Frances Selby; grandchildren, Piper Leanne Noble, Jacob Kellogg and Owen Mark Kellogg; siblings, Paul Selby, Timothy and Jennifer Selby, Sherri and Jon Garee, Jill Selby, Mary Jo Hensell, Barbara and John Gorham, Mamie Deeds, Gloria and Bruce Frye, Teresa and Tim Heisler and Terry Selby.
