Gena B Ard

Gena Beth Ard Honoring the life of Gena Beth Ard, age 90. She was born on June 12, 1926 in Knox County, Texas to David Griffith and Nevye Thurmond. She is an US Army Veteran, having served during WWII. She was also an active member of the Zwolle VFW and the Sabine Parish Lions Club; where she served as president for several years. She passed away on February 22, 2017 while residing at Many Health Care North in Many, La. Proceeding her in death were her father David G Griffith and mother Nevye Thurmond & 12 brothers and sisters. She is survived by her son Joe Ard of Zwolle, La and daughter Judy Baca of Spring Branch Tx. She has 6 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews.
