GRAND CANE, LA--Graveside services honoring the life of Gene Worthington, 84, will be at 11:00 AM Tuesday, November 7, 2017 at Grand Cane Cemetery in Grand Cane, LA with Reverend Timothy Roberson officiating. The family will receive friends at Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Mansfield, LA on Monday, November 6, 2017 from 6 PM till 9PM. Gene was born on November 14, 1932 to Wiley and Ruth Stamps Worthington and entered into rest on November 4, 2017. He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Chuck Worthington; brother, James Worthington; and sisters, Naomi Lindsey and Joan White. Those left behind to cherish his memory are his son, Ramon Worthington and wife Anita of Grand Cane, LA; daughters, Bonita McEntyre and husband Wendell, Heidi Miller, and Kelli Ward and husband Kevin; sisters, Doris Frazier, and Nell Murphy; grandchildren, Justin Worthington, Amy Wynn, Kelli Hicks, Brandy Kennedy, Ragan Worthington, Shane Miller, Raelee Self, Alexis Bordelon, Kaitlyn Watson, Madison Ward, Kilee Ward, Keagan Ward,Hudson Ward, Scott Worthington, Joseph Worthington, Billy Worthington, Kaci Worthington, Nikki Jones, and Shannan Strawn; and great-grandchildren, Emerson, Kuye, Raekyn, Makensi, Rider, Brayden, Zoe, Zane, Bentley, Charlie Kate, Baylor, Landri, MichaelAnn, Ethen, Kaleb, Dalton, Harley, Alex, Cole, Charles, William, Destiny, Gage, Joseph, Kodi, Brydon, Xander, Aleya'Rae, Dani, Taylor, Shelby, Kanyon and Alaina. Honoring the life of Gene as pallbearers will be Kevin Ward, Shane Miller, Ragan Worthington, Justin Worthington, and Kaleb Worthington.
