Genette Giddens

Born March 21, 1921 and died November 14, 2016 Graveside Service November 17^th at 1:30 PM at Forest Park West, Shreveport She was born in Leton, La and was the 7^th child of 14. She graduated Valedictorian at Grand Bayou School in 1938. She married Percy Lex Giddens on May 26, 1946. Left to cherish her memory are Lex Giddens, Jr. and wife Lou of Monroe, La.; Craig Giddens and wife Mary of Shreveport; Sharon Floyd and husband Bob of Shreveport; Charlotte Long and husband Jim of Benton and Carol Diehl and husband Ed of Dallas, TX; along with 11 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren; also 3 sisters, Mattie Lou Lambert of Conroe, TX, Nadine Fretwell and Charlene Rose of Deadwood, TX and an honorary sister, Francis Howard of Shreveport. She was preceded in death by her husband of 67 years, Percy Lex Giddens, Sr, her parents, John and Mallie Middlebrook, her grandson Brent Mattison, 4 brothers and 6 sisters.
