George D. Stapleton, Jr.

PANOLA, TX - George Douglas "Joe" Stapleton, Jr. was born November 12, 1963 and passed away on August 4, 2016 after a short battle with cancer. He was born in Banning, CA and soon moved to Monroe, LA. Later he moved to Panola, TX where he met his wife, Ranee. Joe had a quick sense of humor and enjoyed deer hunting, working on cars and spending time with his family. He will be greatly missed. Joe was preceded in death by his mother Martha Mae Hall Stapleton, brother-in-law Tony LaPietra and sister-in-law Teri Lynn Young Talbott. He is survived by his father George D. Stapleton, Sr.; his loving wife Sheri Ranee Young Stapleton; 3 children Josh, Lacy and Taylor; sisters Lore Stapleton, Stephanie LaPietra, Melissa Hamilton and husband Jr., Ann Stapleton and Becky Leggett and husband Paul; brothers Zac Stapleton, Randy Stapleton and wife Roberta; grandson Anakin. He also leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews and extended family and friends A Memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, August 8, 2016 at Rose-Neath Southside Chapel, with Rev.
