George P. Wiltheis, Jr.

Minden, LA George P. Wiltheis, Jr. A lifelong Webster Parish resident, George P. Wiltheis, Jr. was born May 30, 1919 in Grove, Louisiana and died at home February 26, 2016. George was a veteran of World War II, came home from war, married, started a family and began dairy farming. Later in life he changed from dairy farming to raising beef cattle until his retirement. He was preceded in death by is wife Darthie Lowe Wiltheis, his parents Porter and Nena Wiltheis and sister Sarah Beck. He is survived by three children, daughter Debbie Higginbotham (husband Joe) of Little Rock, Arkansas, sons Dulane and Dewey Wiltheis of Minden, three grandsons, one great-grandson, nephew Charles Beck (wife Rita) of Minden and numerous other nieces and nephews. Visitation will be from 5 until 7 p.m. Monday, February 29m, 2016 at Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Minden, Louisiana and the funeral will be Tuesday, March 1, 2016 at 2 p.m. at Rose-Neath Funeral Home Chapel in Minden.
