Georgia Marie Procell

Texarkana, TX-Funeral services for Georgia Marie Procell, 94, will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 20, 2018 at Rose-Neath Southside Chapel. Interment will follow in Summer Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Monday, March 19, 2018 at the funeral home. Georgia was born March 19, 1923 in Marshall, TX to William and Lavada Ann Smith and passed away on March 16, 2018 in Texarkana. She was a supervisor at Shreveport Garment Manufacturing for many years and a seamstress her entire life. She was a past member of Broadmoor Baptist Church and most recently attended Buchanan Baptist Church in Texarkana. She was a faithful servant. Georgia was preceded in death by her husband, Julius Procell; sisters, Mary Bond and Virginia Clark; and brother, Harry Smith. Left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Julie Middlebrooks and husband Tom and Carolyn Mistretta; grandchildren, Scott Duncan, Will Middlebrooks and wife Jenny, Lacey Middlebrooks, and Mary Frances Middlebrooks; five great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. Memorials may be made to Buchanan Baptist Church Building Fund. The family would like to give a special thanks to the staff of The Retreat at Kenwood in Texarkana for their loving care.
