Marthaville, LA - Funeral services honoring the life of Georgia Slay, 82, will be at 10:00 AM Monday, May 23, 2016 at Dowell Baptist Church in Marthaville, LA with Reverend Dean and Jimmy McDonald officiating. Burial will follow at Old Pisgah Cemetery in Florien, LA. The family will receive friends at Dowell Baptist Church on Sunday May 22, 2016 at 3PM- until.

Georgia was born on March 15, 1934 in Marthaville, Louisiana to William and Ida Brewster and passed away on May 20, 2016 with her family by her side.

Proceeding her in death were her Parents Ida & William Brewster; Husband Alvin Slay; Grandson Donald Slay Jr.; Daughter in-law Wanda Slay; Brothers Troy Brewster, Billy Brewster, Ruben Brewster, Pete Brewster, Joseph Brewster, Sister Mary Cobbs.

She is survived by her Children; Donald Slay of Belmont and Judy Bass& husband Warren of Marthaville; 5 Grandchildren, Angie Slay, Stephanie Grizzle Jennifer Rydberg & husband Michael, Jessica Bass, and Lisa Guevara & husband Billy.
