Funeral services for Gerald Wayne Cheatwood will be held Friday, May 18, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at The Pentecostals of Bossier City in Bossier City, Louisiana with Rev. Jerry Dean and Rev. William C. Puckett, Jr officiating. Interment will follow at Gardens of Memory in Minden, Louisiana. The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. until service time Friday at the church.
Gerald was born July 27, 1945 in Saline, Louisiana and entered into rest May 15, 2018 in Shreveport, Louisiana. He was a member of The Pentecostals of Bossier City.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Mr. & Mrs. Carl Cheatwood and step-father, U.G. Graham.
He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Dianne Perry Cheatwood of Shreveport, daughter, Lana Wray and husband Lange of Bossier City, sister, Bernice Dans of Marthaville, step-sisters, Geraldine Lowe of Dallas, TX and Edreth Free of Tyler, TX, brother, Carl Huey Cheatwood and wife Anita of Saline, and his pride and joy, his two grandsons, Hudson and William Wray of Bossier City.
Pallbearers will be Alan Cheatwood, Cecil Perry, Jr, Greg Vest, Johnny Coffey, Clay Southern, and Paul Patrisso.
