STONEWALL, LA - Gerald David Lanius was born on April 12, 1945 in St. Louis, Missouri and went home August, 19, 2015. He was a strong man of faith, a loving husband, father and grandfather. A Memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, August 22, 2015 at Woodridge Baptist Church. Bro. Chuck McInturf will be officiating. In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial donations may be made to Woodridge Baptist Church, Building Fund, 850 W. Bert Kouns, Shreveport, LA 71106. "Jerry David" was preceded in death by his parents, Louis David Lanius, Margaret Cox Lanius, step-mother, Rosemary Lanius and sister, Barbara Fisher. Jerry is survived by his wife, Patsy King Lanius; sons, Louis Floyd Lanius, David Scott Lanius, Robert Dennis Lanius and wife, Elizabeth, Fredrig Dale Lanius and wife, Robyn, Kenneth Harold Jordan, Jr.; daughters, Cheryl Lanius Monroe and husband, Jimmy, Sandy Barker and husband, Chris, and Shelly Taylor; grandchildren, Dalanie, Bethany, Zachary, Dawson, and Peyton, Chris and Naomi, Dakota, Josh, Sara, Richard, Erin and Kasy, Jolene and Cyndee, Aaron and Lexy, Patrick and Amber, Hope; great-grandchildren, Braylinn, Madi, Kaylee, William, Leila and Chance; sister, Marty Adamson and husband, Dennis, Joyce Hayes and husband, Kerry, and Theresa Barton; brothers Danny Lanius and wife, Kathy, and Patrick Lanius. Along with numerous nieces, nephews and extended family and friends.
