Gerald Douglas Whitton
A memorial visitation for Gerald Douglas Whitton, 73, will be held from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Thursday, October 19, 2017 at Rose-Neath Southside Funeral Home.
Gerald was born on December 18, 1943, in Shreveport, Louisiana, to Oleen and Eugene Whitton and passed away after a lengthy illness on October 17, 2017.
Gerald was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, William "Bubba" Whitton and Bobby Gene Whitton, Sr. Left to cherish his memories are his son, Dr. Gerald Brent Whitton and wife Jessica; daughter, Kimberly Hoss and husband Tim; grandchildren, Nicholas, Joshua, and Elizabeth Whitton; Jaycie and Ainsley Davis; Emily, Connor and Caroline Hoss; brother, Jerry Whitton and wife Judy and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family would like to extend special thanks to Dr. Anil Veluvolu, Dr. Tony Stuart, and the compassionate nurses and staff at The Oaks of Louisiana.
