Funeral services for Glen R. Davis will be held 2:00 PM, Monday, February 9, 2015 at First Baptist Church in Logansport, LA with Reverend Charles Hall, Reverend David Permenter, and Reverend Bob Miller officiating. Burial will follow in the Magnolia Baptist Church Cemetery in Hunter Community, LA. The family will receive friends at First Baptist Church in Logansport, LA on Sunday, February 8, 2015 from 5:00 until 8:00 PM.

Glen was born in Coushatta, LA to Elmer and Clara Smith Davis and passed away in Longview, TX. Glen was a member of Judson Road Community Baptist Church in Longview, TX.

Preceding Glen in death were his parents Elmer and Clara Smith Davis; sister Ravenell Davis; and grandson Ron Davis.

Those left behind to cherish his memory are his wife of 54 years Sandra Davis; son Ronnie Davis and wife Lori; daughter Robin Lawhorn and husband Kris; brother Wayne Davis and wife Carolyn; grandchildren Karsten Davis and wife Lauren, Hannah Callaway and husband Steven, Caitlyn Raybon and husband Lonny, Jr, Kristopher Lawhorn and wife Amy, Raygan Lawhorn, and Ryen Lawhorn; 8 great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.

Those honoring the life of Glen as pallbearers will be Karsten Davis, Kristopher Lawhorn, Ryen Lawhorn, Randy Moore, Mark Gribbon, Shannon Salter, Jason McMillian, and Dr. Greg Burns. Honorary pallbearers will be Terry Burr, Brent McMillian, and Rev. Jarrin Peeples.
