Glen Holt

Glen Holt, 85, of Shreveport, LA, went home on Thursday, March 31, 2016. Services celebrating his life will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Monday, April 4 at Rose-Neath Marshall St. Chapel with visitation at 10:30 a.m. Burial will follow in Forest Park Cemetery, St. Vincent. He always said he was glad to grow up when he did, where he did, and how he did. He lives on in his stories of cowboys, tugboats, and the Louisiana of a time gone by.

Glen was born on October 4, 1930 in Leesville, LA. He was preceded in death by his wife of 50 years, Mary. Left to cherish his memory are his three children Andy Holt, Glenda Lenox, and Patty Tymon; his two grandchildren, Laney Lenox and George Tymon; and his sons-in-law Pete Lenox and Andy Tymon.

Serving as Glen's pallbearers: Zach Grill, Scott Hinton, Buck Holt, Jack Lenox, Blake Robertson, and David Scoggins. Honorary pallbearers: Chris Bird and Mack Cain, Jr.
