Glenda Paulette McGraw Chandler

A graveside service for Glenda Paulette McGraw Chandler, 78, will be held July 2, 2024, at 1:00 p.m. at Hurricane Cemetery, 999 Par Rd. 195 in Arcadia, Louisiana with Greg Winget officiating.

Glenda was born April 1, 1946, in Stuttgart, Arkansas and went home to be with the Lord on June 27, 2024, while surrounded by her family. Glenda retired from the Post Office Employee Federal Credit Union after 24 years of service. She was also a licensed Notary Public. Glenda was happiest when she was with her family and with her pets. 

Glenda is preceded in death by her parents, Louise Freeman McGraw and Ralph McGraw; stepfather, Hollis Ratliff; stepdaughter, Mary Chandler; and two sisters. Left to cherish her memory are her husband, Doug Chandler; daughter, Paula Winget (Greg); son, David Yarnell (Amelia); stepdaughter, Melanie Rogers; sister, Katherine Rogers; grandchildren whom she loved fiercely, Brandon, Brooke (Adam), Brianne (Jeremy), Alex (Hannah), Audra (Chase), Camille, Joseph, Ruby, Hannah, James and Lily; and many great-grandchildren. She was the heart and soul of our family and will be dearly missed.

Honoring Glenda as pallbearers will be Alex Winget, Jeremy Puckett, Brandon Yarnell, Adam Davis, Landen Davis, and Barry Semar.

In lieu of flowers, the family would like to request that a donation be made to an animal sanctuary of your choice and to continue to spread the spirit of love that was Glenda.
