Glenn Alan Pickett was born on August 29, 1957 and went to be with his Heavenly Father on May 30, 2021. A memorial service will be held at Rose-Neath Funeral Home Southside on Saturday, June 5, 2021 at 10:30 a.m. with Reverend Joey Ketchum of Western Hills Baptist Church conducting the service. Visitation will start at 10:00 a.m.
Glenn Alan was preceded in death by his sister, Diane. He is survived by his parents, Glenn and Clarice Picket; brothers, Wayne and wife, Patricia and Clinton; and cousins, nephews, nieces and friends that he loved very much.
He was an auto mechanic for five years at the Lincoln-Mercury Dealership and then at the Ford Dealership before retiring. He loved drag racing, New Orleans Saints and LSU football and baseball. He was a good cook and loved to cook. He lived a good life and enjoyed being with family and friends.
He didn't care much for coats and ties and would want those attending the service to be dressed casually.
