Gloria Ann Shaw

Gloria Ann Shaw, age 67, passed away August 15, 2021. She was born July 25, 1954 in Shreveport, Louisiana to Alvoyd and Hazel Ford. She passed away in Bossier City, Louisiana. Gloria enjoyed singing and playing the piano until her stroke took away those abilities. She was also a self-published author of a children\'s book called "Alvie and Hazel," a story of finding friendship and doing good deeds for others. She wrote this book for her grandchildren to always have something to remember her and her parents by. Gloria is survived by her three children, Scott Eason (wife Heather), Ashli Krause (husband Jake), and Alysia Eason (husband Randall Rainwater); her five grandchildren (Jessica Eason-Hopkins, Katelyn Eason, Gunnar Krause, Emma Krause, and Isabella Barosh) and two great-grandchildren (Kameron and Calista). She is also survived by her siblings Joyce Hubbard (husband Don), Robert Ford (wife Aline), Virginia Davis, Wanda Arnold (husband Tom), Nellie Pruett (husband Lee) and Cathy Branton (husband Gary) along with numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. She is preceded in death by her parents Alvoyd and Hazel Ford, and her husband John Shaw. There will be a small graveside memorial for her children, grandchildren, and siblings later in the year.
