Gloria Jean Sikes

KEITHVILLE, LA- Funeral services celebrating the life of Gloria Jean Sikes, 76, will be held at 12 noon Monday, August 4, 2014 at Rose-Neath's Southside Chapel, 2500 Southside Drive. Officiating will be Rev. Steven Pounds. Interment will follow in Forest Park West Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday from 10:00 a.m. until service time at the funeral home Gloria was born on January 25, 1938 in Winnsboro, LA and passed away on July 31, 2014. She was a resident of Keithville and attended Faith Community Church. She was retired from AT&T as a product inspector. She loved gardening, quilting, sewing and cooking. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, of 56 years, Johnny Lee Sikes; son, Kenny Lee Sikes; younger sister, Kathy Tradewell. Left to cherish her memory are sons, Terry Sikes, and his wife, Lynn, and Tracy Sikes; grandchildren, Laura Shockley and husband, Chad, Matthew and Shane Sikes, Amanda Hughes and husband, Colby, Clayton Sikes; great-granddaughter, Annabel Shockley.
