Grace Shelton Shetley

Grace Shelton Shetley of Mansfield, Louisiana was born May 17, 1925 to Fleming & Callie Shelton and passed away peacefully from this world to wake up in the arms of Jesus, December 15, 2023.

A graveside service will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Sunday, December 17, 2023 located at Highland Cemetery in Mansfield, Louisiana. Officiating the service will be Dr. Gary Orr.

Mrs. Grace is preceded in death by the love of her life, Ben Shetley, her parents, Fleming and Callie Shelton, brother, Ralph Shelton and sister, Zula Pendleton .

Left with a lifetime of memories and strong Christian testimony are her family, son, Bill Shetley and wife Sharon, daughter, Gwen Rambin and husband Joe; grandchildren, Patrick Rambin (Gayle), Colby Rambin (Carolynn), Dusty Dumas (Kenneth), Carson Shetley; great-grandchildren, Jaxon and Kenli Grace Dumas, Breanna (Chase) Myers, Destiny, Aaron, and Kayleigh Rambin, Beaux and Kallyn Holtzclaw; great-great grandson, Nash Myers.

Mrs. Grace, as known by so many, is remembered by her faithfulness to her Lord and Savior, and First Baptist Church and Choir of Mansfield. She loved to travel with family, especially to Colorado to admire the beauty and watch the snow fall.

Honoring Mrs. Grace as pallbearers will be Jaxon Dumas, Kenli Dumas, Colby Rambin, Patrick Rambin, Kenneth Dumas and Bill Shetley.

The family would like to thank the family and staff at Mansfield Nursing Center and Superior Hospice for their constant care, compassion, and concern. A special thanks to Paula Greer, our angel dressed in scrubs and tennis shoes.
