Guadalupe "Lupe" Lomas

SHREVEPORT, LA - Memorial services for Guadalupe "Lupe" Hernandez Lomas, 64, will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 20, 2016 at Rose-Neath Southside Chapel. Officiating will be Rev. Bob Moore. Visitation with the family will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 19, 2016 at the funeral home. Lupe was born on December 12, 1952 in Shreveport to Ambrose and Toribia Lomas and passed away on January 14, 2016. He worked for the City of Bossier for 20 years before retiring. He was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him. Preceding Lupe in death are his parents, son Joey, sister Theresa, and brothers Albert and Manuel. Those left to cherish his memory are his loving wife of 41 years, Linda Lomas; son, Paul Lomas; daughter, Tricia Lomas; grandsons, Travis Poe and T.K. "Willy" Dore, granddaughter, Sierra Lomas and great-granddaughter, Kaidance Poe; sisters, Beatrice Baggott and husband, Roland, and Rita Gomez; brother, John Lomas and wife, Sheila; along with numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
