Haney H Mitchell

Funeral services celebrating the life of Haney H. Mitchell, age 88 will be held at 1:00 pm, Monday, May 30, 2016 at Rose-Neath Funeral Home, Vivian, LA with Bro. Rickey Jeane officiating, assisted by John Campbell. Interment will follow at Munnerlyn Chapel Cemetery in Ida, LA. There will be a time of visitation Monday, May 30^th beginning at noon until service time.

Haney was born in Vivian, LA on March 8, 1928 to Williams Henry and Jewel Wolfe Mitchell and passed away on May 25, 2016 at Vivian Healthcare. He was a driller in the oilfield by trade and was an avid coon hunter.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife of 65 years, Agnes Mitchell; children, Mickey Mitchell, Carol Mitchell, Sherry Hopkins, Donna Langston, Bonnie Mitchell, Jonette Mitchell Richardson and a host of grandchildren and great grandchildren. He is also survived by his brother, Cleive Mitchell and sister, Martha Ray Camp.

Honoring Haney as pallbearers will be Greg Hopkins, Dennis Mitchell, David Hopkins, David Richardson, Donavan Mitchell, Cody Barlish and Dougie Lawrence.
