Butch was born in Shreveport and passed away on December 18, 2015. He was a long-time auto body repairman and owned his own business for many years. He was a devoted family man who will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
Butch was the kind of man who never met a stranger and opened his door to people of all walks of life. He enjoyed hosting parties and was a master on the grill. Butch lived by his own set of rules and was a true man's man.
Butch was preceded in death by his parents, Harold and Dorothy Hemingway, and sisters, Rose Dowdy and Cathy Flores. He is survived by his wife, Linda Hemingway, former spouses, Linda Godwin Lee and Shelia Malone; sons, Christopher Hemingway, Matthew Hemingway and wife, Jessica, Johnathan Hemingway and wife, Meghan; daughters, Rebecca Hemingway Kerry and husband, Joshua, and Miranda Hemingway; six grandchildren; sister, Carol Hemingway, and one granddog, along with numerous nieces, nephews, extended family, and countless friends.
As Butch would say, "Who loves ya' baby?" We do.
