Shreveport, La - Graveside service for Harold "Odell" Rigsby, 89, will be held on Friday, October 23, 2015 at 12:30 at Forest Park West Cemetery, officiated by Brother Scottie Gibson. Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. on Friday, October 23, 2015 at Rose-Neath Southside Funeral Home. Odell was born on August 10, 1926 in Galveston, TX to James Oliver and Charlie Bailey Rigsby. He passed away on October 17, 2015 in Bossier City, LA. He served aboard the USS Holland in the U.S. Navy during WWII. He was preceded in death by his parents, his loving wife of 53 years, Betty Joyce Smoak Rigsby, brothers, John T. Rigsby, and Jimmie Doyle Rigsby, sister and brother-in-law, Frankie and Harry Conley, sister, Gloria June Rigsby, and granddaughter, Cassie Rigsby. He is survived by son, David H. Rigsby and wife, Carolyn, daughters, Debbie Robinson and husband, Sid, and Glorietta Walker and husband, Johnny, 14 grandchildren, and 13 great grandchildren. Honoring him as pallbearers will be his grandchildren, Kevin, Scott, and Brad Rigsby, Maria Abshire, Ashley and Manny Salazar, Brittany Catterick, Dana Walker, and Taylor Bolea. Honorary Pallbearers will be Robby Robinson, Jennifer, Braden, and Joey Bolea, and Briana Braden.
