Harold was born December 26, 1940 in Dallas, Texas and entered into rest January 14, 2018 in Minden, Louisiana. Harold was a graduate of Minden High School, class of 1960. He was a member of First Baptist Church Minden and a business man commercial and residential construction for about 50 years (W-M Construction, Harold Weaver Construction). He also was president of Alpha House for 11 years.
He was preceded in death by his parents James Robert and Annie Mae Hamilton Weaver, infant daughter, Jennifer Weaver, 1st wife, mother of his son Glenda Nix Weaver, 2nd wife Elizabeth Drew White Weaver, brothers-in-law, Obie Love and Billy Fuller.
He is survived by his son, James Harold Weaver and wife Constance; grandson, Wiley; wife of 21 years, Donna A. Weaver; sisters, Melba Weaver Love, Dorothy Ann Weaver Fuller; step children, Drew White, Julia White Springsteen, Robert Johnson, Charles Shawer, and Stacy Molchan, step grandchildren, twelve; nephews, Victor Love, Scott Fuller, Todd Fuller, Paul Fuller; niece, LaDonna Love Kretchmer; and great nephew, Luke Krechmer.
A public visitation for Harold J. Weaver will be held Thursday, January 18, 2018 from 5-7 p.m. at Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Minden, Louisiana.
