Harold Lloyd Whitlock, was born to Troy Edward and Amanda Avis Greer Whitlock on November 24, 1939 in West Monroe, LA. He enlisted in the United States Air Force in 1957, and after finishing his service in the Air Force reserves, he was honorably discharged in 1962. During this time he met the love of his life and married Linda Jean Stewart on 2/1/1963. No longer able to run from his destiny of plumbing, he worked throughout North Louisiana as a journeyman plumber. He became a master plumber and opened his own business, Whitlock's Plumbing Co., Inc. in 1981. Harold retired in 2001 and passed the labors of his hard work to the next generation. He loved to fish for white perch on the Red River in Coushatta, LA. His main passion in life became sharing Jesus with others. Not always verbally, but often through his labors of love. His mission fields were his neighbors and the community of Keithville, LA.

Our Daddy was a special and unique individual with a sense of humor like none other. Two things about our dad we leave you with is that he loved his Lord and Savior and one of his favorite poems: "Love is a kindling thing, Beauty is a blossom, If you want your finger bit, Poke it at a possum".
