Shreveport, La - Celebration of Life services for Harris Taylor Burford IV, 36, will be held at 1:00 PM, Monday, April 27, 2015, in the Rose-Neath Southside Chapel with Brother Larry Tucker officiating. Interment will follow on the grounds of Gloster Trinity Cemetery, Gloster, La.
The family would like to welcome guests for visitation Monday, April 27, 2015, from 12:00 PM until time of service at 1:00 PM.
Harris Taylor Burford IV was born May 19, 1978, in Shreveport, LA, to Harris Taylor Burford III and the late Juanita Mae Redfearn Burford and called home by the Lord suddenly on April 18, 2015, in an auto accident in Hughes Springs, TX. Harris was an employee of Entertainment Partners involved in the construction of movie sets. He was a member of Providence Road Baptist church in Shreveport, LA. Harris was an intelligent and outgoing spirit; a faithful man of God. He was a loving husband and dedicated father. A devoted fisherman, Harris, was happiest on the water. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends; he always wore a smile with the most contagious laugh.
Harris was preceded in death by his mother; Juanita Mae Burford, his paternal grandparents; Harris Taylor Burford II and Mae Philen Burford, his maternal grandparents; Thomas Lyle and Eula Jewell Redfearn, one stepson; Dylan Jacob Blaine and brother-in-law; Samuel McClure.
Left to cherish the precious memories Harris leaves behind will be his father; Harris "Taylor" Burford III and step-mother Brenda Thames Burford, his beloved wife; Davi Renee Munson Burford, one son; Harris Taylor Burford V, two daughters; Alyssa Renee Burford and Chelse Webster, two sisters; Terry McClure and Karen Daniel, two nieces; Rachel McClure and Halee Daniel, two nephews; Eli and Matthew McClure, along with many extended family members and numerous wonderful friends.
Honoring Harris as pallbearers will be Mark Brown, William Phoenix, Desmond Easter, Scott Overby, Tommy Beaird, and Chris McMullen. Honorary pallbearers will be Justin Anderson and Chad Coffee.
The family would like to thank the many friends and family for their prayers and support during this most difficult time.
