Hazel I Johnson

Shreveport, LA - Graveside services for Hazel Williams Johnson, 88, will be held on Wednesday, October 14, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. at Forest Park East Cemetery, St. Vincent Drive, Shreveport, LA. Rev. Mel Campbell will be officiating. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 13, 2015 from 5 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Rose-Neath Funeral Home, 2500 Southside Drive, Shreveport, LA. Hazel was born on October 16, 1926 in Saline, LA to Charles and Ina Barlow Williams and passed away on October 12, 2015. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, James Johnson; brothers, Eldred Williams and Travis Williams. She is survived by her daughters, Joyce Bell and husband, Dennis, and Linda "Nan" Hayes and husband, Ronnie; grandchildren, Heather Warner, Holly Preston, Heath Bell, Hope Bell, Christopher Shellhart, Scott Shellhart and Stacey Brewer; 14 great-grandchildren; sister, Kathryn Skains, along with numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family. The family would like to say a special thanks to Dr. Irby, Dr. Desai and the staff at Willis Knighton Pierrmont for all the care they gave to Hazel.
