Hazel Nolan Smith

RUSTON, LA - Hazel Nolan Smith was born on April 19, 1921 in Hodge, LA and passed away on February 10, 2018 in Ruston, LA at the age of 96. Hazel was a Physical Therapist for over 30 years for the VA Hospitals. She is preceded in death by her parents, J.T. and Julia Nolan; husband, Vernon D. Smith; son, Lowell Vernon Smith; and her brother, James B. Nolan. Hazel is survived by her sister, Nancy N. Stewart; brothers, Joel T. Nolan, Paul E. Nolan, and Ross Shannon. Graveside services for Hazel will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, February 13, 2018 at Forest Park Cemetery, 3700 St. Vincent Ave, Shreveport, LA 71103.
