Hazel Y Wimer

SHREVEPORT, LA- A funeral service celebrating the life of Hazel Yvonne Wimer, 84, will be held on Monday, January 16, 2017 at 11 am at Rose-Neath Southside. The interment will then follow the service and be at Forest Park West. A visitation will be held Sunday, January 15, 2017 from 4-6pm at Rose-Neath Southside. Mrs. Yvonne was born on December, 21, 1932 and went to be with her Lord and Savior on January 13, 2017. She loved going to church, where she taught Sunday school for over ten years. She also cherished her family where she was a homemaker for as long as they could remember. Ms. Yvonne is preceded in death by her parents, Carlton and Ruth Prothro; and son Mark Wimer. Those left to cherish her memory are her loving husband C.J. Wimer; son, David Wimer and wife, Kim; daughter-in-law, Robin Parker; grandchildren, David Andrew Wimer, Karen Wimer, and Richard Wimer; and great grandson, Mark. The family would like to extend a special thanks to The Bradford and The Grace Home. In lieu of flowers the family would like donations be made to Southside Baptist Church.
