Helen Inez Gilbert

SHREVEPORT, LA - Celebration of Life services for Mrs. Helen Inez Morgan Gilbert, 86, will be held at 10:00 AM, Saturday, December 20, 2014, in the Rose-Neath Southside Chapel with Kenny Gilbert officiating. Interment will immediately follow on the grounds of Forest Park West Cemetery, Shreveport, LA. The family would like to welcome guests for visitation Friday, December 19, 2014, from the hours of 6:00 - 8:00 PM at Rose-Neath. Inez was born June 19, 1928, in Sunflower County, MS, to the late Joe Pick and Etta Mae Hillhouse Morgan and was called to her Heavenly home December 16, 2014, in Shreveport, LA. Inez was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; Louis Grant Gilbert, two brothers; R.C. Morgan, and Paul H. Morgan. Left to cherish the beautiful memories Inez leaves behind are her two sons; Jimmy Gilbert, Kenneth (Kenny) Gilbert and wife Ann, one daughter; Rita Gilbert Leeper and husband Harry, one brother; Joe Pick (J.P.) Morgan, Jr., longtime companion; Bob Lindsay, 7 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great-grandson, along with numerous extended family members and many wonderful friends. Honoring Inez as pallbearers will be Bradley Leeper, William Jobe, Jeff Lindsay, Robert Gilbert, Grant Gilbert and Harry Leeper.
