Helen Elizabeth Wilkerson

Memorial services for Helen Wilkerson, 91, will be held at Kingston Road Baptist Church at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, December 19, 2017 with Don Bush officiating and Danny Causey assisting. Graveside services will follow at Forest Park St. Vincent with Randy Johnson officiating. Helen was born to T.E. and Julia White in Shreveport, LA on November 15, 1926. She married Vernon Wilkerson, the love of her life, except for Jesus. She had one son, Cris and two grandchildren, Theresa Jones and David Dugas who she loved dearly. Helen retired from "The Times" newspaper. If you served in the Vietnam War she made sure you received The Newsletter. She was an active Sunday School Teacher, until health prevented her to do so. Helen is preceded in death by her husband and all her siblings. She is survived by many wonderful nieces and nephews. Thank you Angela for all your love and care.
