HAUGHTON, LA - Services for Henry Allen Benson, 68, will be 1 p.m. Sunday, February 15, 2015 at Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Bossier City, LA. Officiating will be Bro. Sonny DePrang. Interment will be at 4 p.m. at Thomas Wren Cemetery, Coushatta, LA. with U.S. Navy Honors. Visitation will be prior to the service Sunday, beginning at 11 a.m. Henry was born July 3, 1946 in Shreveport, LA and passed away suddenly February 12, 2015 in Bossier City, LA. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and a self-employed glass technician. He is preceded in death by his parents, Farrell Watkins and Eva Mae Benson Watkins. Henry is survived by his wife of 26, years, Lisa H. Benson of Haughton, LA; sons, Jason A. Benson of Shreveport, LA, Brandon A. Benson of Haughton, LA; brother, Jake Benson of Benton, LA and a host of other relatives and friends. Honoring Henry as pallbearers will be Gary Bamburg. Joe Windham, Larry Anderson and Sam Anderson.
