STONEWALL, LA - Funeral service for Henry Floyd Brown, 78, will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 10, 2015 at Salem Baptist Church, 109 Church Rd, Stonewall, LA 71078, with Reverend Mike Hawkins officiating. Interment will follow at Grand Cane Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 9, 2015 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Rose-Neath Funeral Home, 2500 Southside Dr., Shreveport, LA. Henry was born on January 9, 1937 to John and Lanie Brown in Logansport, LA. He went to be with his Lord on September 7, 2015. He was a member of Salem Baptist Church. He was a Mason and a member of the Scottish Rite. He was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Fayrene Lum Brown, sons, John Demoine Brown and his wife, Debbie, and Sidney Eugene Brown and his wife, Bridgette, grandchildren, Erin Elizabeth Brown, Emily Ann Brown, Jonathon Trey Brown and his wife, Chelsea, and great grandson, John Michael Brown. Honoring Henry as pallbearers will be Morris W. Brown, Bodean Blount, Pat Loftus, George Pugh, Bobby Stanley, and Jimmy Kelly. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the building fund of Salem Baptist Church, 109 Church Rd, Stonewall, LA 71078.
